In-Person Tutoring
About In-Person Tutoring
In-person sessions are the most common form of tutoring that the UWC offers. These sessions are structured to give you up to 50 minutes of one-on-one time with a consultant at the UWC's physical location in Moody Library (2nd floor West). The best way to benefit from in-person consultations is to talk with your consultant about what you want to focus on and what your overall goals are for the piece of writing that you’re working on. We encourage you to bring in resources, assignment sheets, research, and ideas so that your consultation will be as productive as possible. Our consultants can offer feedback and instruction no matter where you are in the writing process, from initial brainstorming and analyzing texts all the way to revision and final drafting.
Any student, faculty, or staff member is welcomed to schedule an appointment using our online scheduler (baylor.mywconline.com). Drop-ins are also welcome. For more information on how to schedule your online appointment now, visit our Schedule an Appointment page.
